The Air Adventures Of Jimmie Allen. 1946. 
World Broadcasting System syndication. Music fill for 
local commercial insert. Audition program and sales 
presentation. Jimmie is a messenger at the Kansas 
City airport who wants nothing more to be a real pilot. 
Jimmie overhears a plan to steal a million dollar 
shipment from an incoming plane. Shots ring out! 
This might be episode one, being used in an attempt 
to re-syndicate the program after the war 
(by Comer Radio Productions). The series was originally 
broadcast in 1936, perhaps as early as 1933. This series 
may be rebroadcasts, or re-use of the scripts with a new 
cast. The lead was played by a real pilot named Murray 
McLean, who used the name Jimmy Allen on the air. .
